How long does it take?
(Note we need the co-operation of your attorney which could delay matters)
What is the amount of the loan I would be able to obtain?
We would generally be able to advance you up to 60% of the amount that is due to you from your settlement.
What does this cost me?
The standard cost is: 85% of amount due, available within 48 hours. (Effectively costing you 15%).
However if you reduce your amount you receive now and increase the number of months until you receive payment, the balance varies.
For example:
40% now and 50% in 12 months. You will receive 90%
(Effectively costing you 10%).
Or even:
30% now and 70% in 18 months, meaning you will receive 100% (effectively not costing you anything).
Should I use an attorney?
Think about it, would you allow someone who owed you money to have the sole power to decide:
• If they owed you anything at all;
• If so, how much they owe you;
• The terms on which they will repay you?
It sounds crazy, because it is, and it’s precisely what Road Accident victims are encouraged to do by the party (Road Accident Fund)(RAF) that they want to sue. Analyzing the Road Accident Fund (RAF) financial reports, which highlight the total amount paid and the total number of claims paid in respect of represented and unrepresented claims, shows that (according to the Road Accident Fund’s (RAF) own statistics) represented people were paid nearly
ten (10) times more than those unrepresented. Click here for Road Accident Fund (RAF) statistics.
